Adult Faith Formation

As Unitarian Universalists, we believe that everyone is on a faith journey. Your religious self-exploration doesn’t have to stop because you are no longer in school! We offer a diverse selection of Sunday sermon topics, and also have a rotation of adult engagement & learning opportunities throughout the month to allow you the chance to continue to grow in your spirit & faith. Find something that speaks to you!

Soul Matters Conversations – 3rd Sunday @ 9AM (before service)

UUCF participates in the Soul Matters curriculum provided by the UUA. Each month, we cover a different topic thru our Sunday Services. Additionally, Rev Karen hosts a discussion group focused on that topic. Discussion groups are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 9AM prior to service. Meet in the Marge Brown Room or via video link option. Email us for this month’s Google Meet link.

Small group discussions help us reflect on our own spirituality and connect with each other.

Circle of Conscious Evolution – 4th Wednesday @ 7PM

Hosted by member Margaret Sullivan, she & other speakers explore learning opportunities perfect for those who seek personal growth & a desire to explore the unknown. Class is free, just bring an open mind & a snack to share. This series occurs on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 7pm-9pm in the Marge Brown Room. Check out this month’s topic on our Announcements slideshow.

Wednesday Writing and Wonder – 2nd Wednesday @ 10AM

Rev Karen hosts a monthly writing session as a spiritual practice gathering. Using a writing prompt as the focus point, we will spend time contemplating, noticing, and writing. This is not for the purpose of sharing what we wrote, but rather, building into our lives a regular practice of writing. All are welcome! This series happens on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10am-10:45am in the Comfort Room.
