When the concentration camps were cleared after WWII ended, an inscription was found on a wall that includes the line “I believe in the sun even when it isn’t shining.” On this Sunday before the inauguration of an administration at our multicongregation Service at 1st UU Detroit, we will lean into believing in the seeds of joy, hope, and love even when we can’t see them.
