“Climate Change as of 2022: Simple, Serious, Solvable,” will be a fact-based look at the scientific state of the issues and impacts involved in climate change, localized in many ways to Michigan. We will explore, in a hopeful way, a range of ideas to address the significant challenges we face, including what each of us can do.

Jaike SpottedWolf will be speaking about how we can break cycles of Indigenous erasure and how we can invite principals of First Peoples back into mainstream culture. We will learn how harmful colonization has been to sovereign nations in Turtle Island and how those themes also harm non-Native, settler descendants.
